I have heard that VA Beach holds a MX race on the beachfront every year, can anyone give me some info or places to find some info on this race. Thanks

 

All I can give you is the dates as of right now. I am trying to get Randy Dinkins, the event organizer, to post some more info.

The race dates are May 2-4, 2003. Friday is just an open practice, Saturday is Qual 1, and Sunday is the mains.

I will post more info as I get it.

 

That would be great, do you know where it is going to be held? I would like to go ahead a find a hotel close by, if possible. Thanks!!!

 

The track should be set up in the vicinty of 5th street. You will enter the beach at 1st street and the track is usually set up between 4th and 6th.

Just a warning!!!! May is prime time tourist season, so Hotels are going to be crazy priced.

 

The race is a NQRA Race (National Quad Racing ***.) and put on by Quad Star Entertainment Contact Randy Dinkins at 336-463-4415 or Billy Spruill at 252-465-4563. Oh by the way at the end or their 6 race series they are giving away a 2003 LTZ400 the only way to win is by entering races so it will be given to a racer.

 

I can't wait to see that beach race this year... I missed it last year, and I was hoping to actually race in it this year, but I was unable to ship my quad down here like I planned... at least I'll get to watch! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] (I'm in Hampton...)
