is yours stock?
in my first ice race i there was 2 cr80s and we were faster then them but a lot has to do with the rider and weight and set up mine was geared up different tires and piped
the 80s are still pretty fast though for an 80 and light if its stock id say the 80 but like i said it all comes down to the rider and also since his is a 89 it could have lose power unless he's rebuilt it so that could also come into play

I have a new stock Banshee that I plan to upgrade. I got beat the other day by a Blaster with a fatty pipe. I pulled into the lead about the top of third gear.

The 80 will probabally beat you off the line.

but......

The 80 has a lot tighter gearing so about the time the 80 winds out third gear you're going to smoke it. That is if you have enough room. I've never hit a place long enough to wind out the Banshee my guess is close to 85 MPH.....

My friend put an fmf fatty pipe w/the powercore II and its power increase is noticeable. Its fun to ride wheelies on and i would say its worth ut money to get one.

Hi in Toronto. I can't answer the pipe question.. I plan to get pipes for my Banshee as soon as I've ridden a few months. That's because pipes are affordable, and give you a noticeable performance gain. Get ready to re jet your carb when you do it . That's no big deal. If anyone wants too weigh in on a good two stroke pipe I sure would appreciate it.. I'm used to riding something with more snap than my stock Banshee...

ok my answer to your questions are toomey and toomey....the b1 and the t6 are both top of the line pipes i have also heard good things about lrd, cpi(drag racing for a shee), and the fmf sst. any of those setups would work well. and another tip fun rider get new tires if there still stock the stock shee tires suck
