Aftermarket Frames?
Quite a bit more, 400EX's and 250R's are still winning our local amatuer classes, with CRF450's and 265's winning pro...... The Raptor is good, but most frame builders know that Honda's and the new Suzuki sport quads is where the easy money is. Besides, what's the point of making a frame for a bike that isn't even AMA legal in a money class?

WP,
CONGRAT on the self promotion. You don't get to be #1 by rolling the jumps at practice kast Monday.
Just get something so when you roll the jumps it won't scrape the paint. When you get it, get the clutch adjusted also. Charge the Battery so my Cannondale won't have to pull start you.
You still need to get that frame to Matt.
Call me when your ready for El Cajon again. It was fun rolling the jumps with you.

I don't really think the manufacturers care much about the ama nationals as a vast majority of racers don't race ama national sanctioned events. Either way, it's a mute point, and it all works out better for me,

I know you don't have alot of racers up that way compared to here, so try to think a little bigger. When I was talking of manufacturers, I was talking of the aftermarket frame builders. They do manufacture right? Anyways, the statement is the same. NEITHER the AFTERMARKET FRAME MAKERS nor the MANUFACTURERS could really care less about GNC's or GNCC's since thats such a small part of the market. I hope that helps you make sense of whats going on in the atv world. TQRA is small potatoes, start going to some larger events and you'll see.

Larger like your locals? Last TQRA race had 150 or so riders... Small potatoes? Riiiiight. That's why we've got 3 or 4 riders going very well on the GNC circuit this year? Yeah I guess I do need to think bigger. By the way, I know what's going on in the ATV world. I've been here for about 8 years. If frame builders didnt care about GNC's and GNCC's.. Why would they make frames? Unless I'm totally mistaken, RACING(XC, MX, Desert, etc) are just about the only type of riding that would require an aftermarket frame.. Unless you Ohio boys like to spend $2000 on a lighter Polaris frame to hit the mud bogs?

Hmmm... You laugh at TQRA having 150 riders, yet you say your locals only have 100 or so? TQRA is my 'local' race too. I'm very aware of how many riders attend a GNC or GNCC.
Out of the 600 racers at a GNC or GNCC, how many 250R's and 400EX's do you see? Frame builders know what racers are using, and what works. That's why they're not making Raptor frames. End of story.
