Dirtgirl,
Is this the race you DNF'd because your clutch cable became so clogged with mud you couldn't pull the lever?
I can't imagine that large a number of quads. Out here, the ATVs are all lumped into a single class (with pros and beginners together). The motorcycle clubs run the ATV class as much as a courtesy as anything else.
I think if there was that much interest, we'd have to definitely have our own organization and series. I also think that there are more utility quads in Utah than anything else. Nobody runs a utility class race that I know of... I think if organizers had one and made it easy to run stock utility quads, there would be a lot of participation, just for the fun of it.

hey mark it was me not sandgod. and unfortunatley i was the one on the ground in everybody's way. I still don't know exactly how i got there. I don't know if i hit another quad or if someone hit me or maybe i hit some sage brush? who knows. that is how bad the dust was. you could barley see past the front of your quad. Well that's about all i have to say about the race. Mark pretty much summed it up. Im not sure exactly what place i took but i bet it was in between 15-20.

Will they let me race even though I am 15, and has anyone have any info about that particular class? What quads race in it? and any other helpful hints to get started in a racing series i would greatly appreciate it.

The V-Force is eligible for the Utility Unlimited Class (for automatic tranny quads without racks), as well as the standard classes such as First Year Racer, the 4-Stroke Novice Classes, 4-Stroke Stock, Open A and B, 4-Stroke A and B, and Pro and Pro Production. Go to http://www.gnccracing.com/gnccfaq.html for lots of info.

I want to start racing some time, im 15 and will probably some time inbetween now and next year. i would go in the novice class with probably a 88' 250r, I'm wondering what kind of mods could i do? (wanting to put powervalve motor, pipe etc.) And i looked at the GNCC website and they have no tracks even NEAR my area.. i would have to drive out of state which i dont want to do, Their is the washougal mx track but i want to do more of a trail riding event.
