That's great! I tried a regular snow tube the first time we did that and it ripped it apart. I got one of the tubes with the heavy nylon cover like they use for tubing behind a boat and it has lasted a lot better. Waiting for that perfect combination of frozen beaver pond without too much snow. We used to do it in the front yard until I misjudged the donut I was doing and hit the tube against a tree. Lose more kids that way. No, he was fine but got popped off the tube. Loved it and climbed right back one.

One of the funnier times we had was when I got one of those floating island tubes that was about 10 feet across. (It was free as an incentive to work harder) It lasted about 20 minutes with 6 kids on it. Caught a rock that had slowly got uncovered and that was the end of it. Fun while it lasted.

When I was a kid my dad pulled me and my younger brother on a car hood behind a snowmobile. It slid around curves just like the tube does and my brother's head went into a snowbank. That's still fun when you get older.
