Last week, I drove out to meet my dirt bike buddy to ride the ice. When I got there he told me the snow was too deep for his small quad to clear a track. I had to go home and clean everything back up getting the road salt off, and put the quads away for another week. That is the problem with kold kutters, the snowmobile studs on the other hand, can run in the snow.

Saturday, I met my brothers at my childhood home where my mother still lives. The ice conditions were perfect, we blasted around for a few hours, mom made lunch, and we had a great time.

 

That sure looks like fun.
