I am thinking about buyung a new quad and I can't decide between a Rincon and a Polaris SP. This quad will mainly be for recreation, but I will use it once in a while for utility. I would like to hear your input on the pros and cons of both machines. I hope you can help me decide on which machine to buy.

 

Both ride smooth but the rincon handles better due to it being 140lbs lighter.(600 or 700 sp)The sp has a belt drive while the rincon has an automatic transmission.The rincon has a pullstart in case the battery fails while the sp twins do not.

 

I like the sportsman but thats just me. I like their tough look. just my $0.02

 

I would go with the honda because of the reliablity.

Everyone (well almost everyone) was doggin the Rincon until it WOOPED *** on everything in the Baja 1000, the mother of all races.

 

go with the sportsman I have a 96 that I just bought (yes a little old) but it only has 2400 miles and runs great I drive it very hard and nothing has has happened to the motor or anything. Its driven so hard the 3rd weak I had it I snapped the brake off. Try to get true 4 wheel drive.
