I think the Honda 90 will serve your son well. My daughter and step son both had one until they outgrew them. They are great little quads. They are built to last, unlike those Taiwan kids ATV's. They're pretty fast for a youth quad' will do about 25 mph. They handle extremely well. The only draw back is the lack of a reverse and electric start. Get the Honda 90. Hope this helps!

Two years ago, I bought my daughter a new 90 cc Dinli T-Rex for $1650. It is built by a korean company. It has proven fairly reliable and very fun. With myself at 200 lbs, the little 2-stroke has tons of power. It pulls the front wheels off the ground very easily. Safety wise, it has a throttle adjustment screw to adjust top speed. It also has a safety teather on the rear so that you can walk behind and kill the engine. This is good while teaching them to ride. The engine is oil injected, so you do not have to mix the fuel. The only problem I've had is the stickers are cheap and came off the first time I cleaned the bike. I also looked at the Honda and other major players. For the price difference, I decided to take my chances, and am glad I did. Good luck...Rob

Cool.. I'll have to check it out. I haven't looked into the smaller companies like Dinli yet. I saw another brand on Ebay that I haven't heard of that had some pretty reasonable prices, but who knows how good the machine is. The website is here: http://www.kazumacycles.com
Thanks.
Thanks.

go with the honda. honda is reliable and their machines r simple. even if the quad is a little big for him, i would say that's a good thing. he's going to grow so you have longer til u have to buy a new quad for him. also, if he learns to ride well on a quad that's big for him, he'll do much better on a quad that's the perfect size.
