I have owned a 96 350 Big Bear for around 6 years now, and it's been nothing but reliable. Very little has broken on it. Full time 4x4, but you really only need 2x4 if you're riding on hard pavement.
It isn't the fanciest, or the fastest, but prices are reasonable for late 90's bears ($2k - 2.5k) and I just can't kill this one. I sure didn't go wrong buying the bear.
