How would these two compare? would the blaster's 2 stroke 200cc engine keep up with the 250's 4 stroke? which handles, and jumps better?

I have very little experience with either of these bikes, but I would have to guess that a stroke 200 (box stock) would smoke a box stock 250 4 stroke any day. JMHO

 

It won't smoke it, I will beat it by some. Of course it is a 2-stroke with 6 gears. It would be pretty hard for a 4 stroke with 50cc more and a gear less to beat it. But the 250x handles better and probably feels safer in the air.

 

how does the blaster do in mud compared to the 250? Is the reverse on the 250 really that important?

 

Reverse is nice, but like people will tell you it is not the most important thing.

 

I have a Blaster, and its great. It handles really well in the mud, and when the right tires, it slide harldy at all unless you try. I do jump my blaster, and it fells safe in the air. I have never once been scared how i was going to land, and i have never once eatin crap. (on a jump) i have never riden a 250 ex, but from the reviews i ahve seen, and heard about it, the BLASTER is way better
