Honda, Bombardier,Suzuki? Help !
#1
OK, so here's the deal. I have spent the past month or more researching, riding and asking questions. I believe all these Quads are good bikes. I have narrowed it down to these three and have got all the bottom line prices. I will be riding in the Canadian Woods. Trails, logging roads etc. Probobly could get away with 2 wheel drive, however, I would like the option of both. My first choice was the Vinson 500 manual. Second was the Honda 400 GPS and third was the Bomb Outlander 400 H.O.
Has anyone really tested any of all of these ATV'S ?

Hey Spudick,
I replied in your other topic also. Let me give you my $0.02.
VInson- Great bike. Fast, comfy, nice ride, great power.
Junky front plastic bumper, only decent 4 wheel drive, not great. Depends on what you need
Rancher AT- Love it(but that is only my opinion). Quick, very comfy, holds a hill like a
mountain goat, unbelievable engine braking system( 3mph without touching the brakes),
very very good 4 wheel drive for not having a locker on it, choice between auto or shifting
(nice to have both )
A little rough at high speeds in the rough stuff. Not over powerful in auto mode(but always
the right power for the situation). GPS unit, aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh, I think I would rather
have a hand held unit.
Outlander-Great power, speed, ride.
Ugly. I have heard that some people love the tranny and some people say it is a little
sloppy. I also heard that the 4 wheel drive is a little weak but I don't believe it. I have
ridden with a guy who rides a Traxter and where he took that machine was pretty
impressive.
Once again this is only my opinion. Good luck

Yoda,
Funny you should say that, that's exactly where my choice in going. I called the dealer today and asked if that deal still stands. He said yup ! It will be around $8000 Canadian out the door, without the GPS.
THanks !
