Default I need a reliable ATV

I own a 2003 prarie 360 and the primary & secondary clutches messed up in the auto tranny. The dealer said they would mess up again within another 300 hours. I have about 275 hours on it now. I need a reliable atv preferably auto and 4x4 that does not require much maintenance. (Not a Kawi)

i think u just got a bad one even tho its a kawasaki i would look into a prarie 700 if u have no price limit but my second choice would probably be a vinson 500 if u dont want a big bore i would look into the eiger 400

I was thinking more on the lines of a Kodiak 450 or Kodiak 400.

One thing about Hondas is that they are priced way to high. Dont get me wrong my cousin has a rancher and he has had no trouble out of it except the brakes and it is a 2001 model.

the big bear 400 4x4 is a nice quad. the only problem is they are semi auto. but if you dont mind shifting i would go with the big bear they are also cheaper.

Ride red. The extra money will be worth it.

Is there such a thing as a primary and secondary clutch in your Prairie. Have you asked in the kawi forum. It doesn't sound like anyone else is having these kind of problems with them. Why would your dealer tell you that you're going to have more problems. It all sounds kinda strange to me.

Oh yeah now I remember your post about the dealer telling you it wasn't covered by warranty. you had to pay 1000.00. Did you ever get that straightened out with Kawi.
I'm a Honda lover also. If I was looking for a mid powered 4x4. I would diffently buy a Honda. I owned the first 4x4 quad that came out it was a Fourtrax 350 1986 or 87 . That thing was bullet proof and I rode it hard and often. It is still running. I sold it to a friend of mine. I wish Honda had V-twin engine in their Rincon.
