Chilly,

The MudLites that I have are 26x10x12 up front and 26x12x12 in the rear mounted a on ITP C-series 12x7 rims.

The 26 inch tires seem perfect for mine but since I never rode it with stock tires I can not tell if it was a huge or minor power loss. I can say the tires do make the differnce when in the gooey stuff. I was just out this last weekend with 2 of my friends and one was on a older Trailboss 400 and his dad had a ATP 500 Polaris running stock rubber and they were shifting in and out of fourwheel drive. Which is a bugger because of the sharp turns you have to make to go around the rocks, the MudLites realy excell in those conditions by grabbing the muddy rocks and gripping the little cracks and what not to pull you over the ones you did not see or could not go around.

I am thinking a steel skidplate will be in order if we keep going thru that trail section.

AlaskaBoy.
