I know it's not on your list but the Suzuki Vinson is a good machine and in the same price range as the ones you're looking at, maybe a little cheaper too depending on where you go. I got mine 03 Suzuki Vinson 500 with a 2.5cc winch for $6,000. I think it's got more than enough power to get you where you want to go. In my opinion it's a far better machine on the logging roads then the ones you are looking at. It has a great sporty feel. It's may not be quite as good in the mud as the ones you're looking at but still does a great job.
