What to look out for when buying used?
#2
Chris Olson (blackhawk@home.com) published The World's Greatest Used ATV Checklist in the old Forum.
While he focused on 2WD sport ATV's, add some consideration of the 4WD shaft drivetrain (e.g., tightness of joints, condition of boots, etc.) and you've pretty well got the situation covered.
If you ask politely, he may E-mail you a copy of his checklist. In fact, a reprint in the "Buying an ATV" Forum might be welcome at this time.
How about it, Chris?

Considering that they list at $5199, its a good price. If it is in good condition, you can't beat it. Not for a 4wd 300 at least. The bike is only 4 years old, and unless some hooligan who flipped over every time out owned it last, it should still be close to new. Its definitely worth checking out further.
