I need an ATV. At first i was thinking about a Blaster but then i realized that i would be having to deal with a 2-Stroke so i decided i wanted a 4-Stroke. I'm 15 (very soon 16), almost 6-foot, and about 115-120 pounds. Of course, i don't want to spend so much and i am thinking about the KFX400. It's really just for trails and what-not. My friend has land in up-state NY that they go up to almost every-weekend so basically just that and in the winter across some farms and stuff. Would the KFX be good or is there something better for around or less then $6,000?

 

well a kfx would be great for that sort of thing. and your aware that the Z400 is the same bike so if you don't like the color selection look into yellow or white but orange and green would be better, orange. but yes a KFX would be an awesome bike for that. and don't forget about the 400ex little slower but cheaper too and it's not a noticable difference in speed unless your up against a Z/KFX. and a DVX by arctic cat same as Z and KFX also but different plastic unlike Z and KFX

Well, Suzuki's Z400 and Kawasaki's KFX 400 are basically the same thing, Just different colors... So it don't matter. I'd go with the Z400, I like the mods it comes with etc.

 

Personally I like the Arctic Cat, hardly anyone rides them and the plastic looks a lot better. Why not be a little different?? Everyone rides a Z, but that's just because they are everywhere.
