Hello all
I'm looking to buy a new quad. I currently have a 93 2x4 big bear. I use it for trail riding and it does great for 99% of my needs but every so often I find I need 4wd if I go off a trail up a slippery leaf covered incline. I don't need to go fast and my 350 seems to have more than enough power to get me up the steepest hills were I ride (I'm 5'11" 190). Just think the 4wd would come in handy on those rare occasions when I need it. I'm looking at a kawasaki 360 prairie. It seems to have alot of features for the money. Also considering yamaha Kiodak/Briun/Wolverine or honda Rancher alternatives. All opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

well if ur looking at a used bike i would look at the king quads they have diff lock independent suspension and they have 3 subtrnasmision and they come out of four wheel drive

new=since u dont want a big bore i would go wioth the baby grizzley(kodiak450) it has all the features as the grizzley which has all the features as that king quad it just dosnt have 3 sub trnsmision it only has 2 but just my 2cents

Our Ranchers have been superb machines. We use them exclusively on rough, high altitude mountain trails. Lots of rock crawling type stuff, stream crossings, etc.
