Ok I bought a Grizzly 660 05 model

I like it so farbut I tought I would do some pros vrs cons for my tastes.
Im 31 yrs old, 200 lbs, 6'0" tall and I consider myself in the "very aggressive" class of rider. I race dirtbikes and quads and basically tear the hell outta anything I own.
Pros:
Power, It has plenty of snort even for me. I can't really just pull power wheelies but it will make the front very light and if you hit a bit of a bump then you can pull the front end up very high and when you let the front end back down it lands surprisingly light! The front suspension is great.
IRS: I like this for the slow techinical stuff, the roll takes a bit of getting used too for high speed corners but for a utility quad its not that bad. I tried to go around a corner on a gravel road like I do when riding a banshee and it got a bit scary. The weight and IRS made me pucker up as I took a 15 mph corner at closer to 45 mph. Once I got on the power hard and slide the back end around further I was able to continue the slide and auctually slow down by applying more throttle. I had to hang all my 200 lbs on the inside of the quad because the body roll freaked me out a bit.
Finish: The Yahama has great finishing work. No bolts fell out **cough cough Polaris owners** and all the body bolts were auctual tapped bolts and not that self tapping tabs crap *polaris cough cough*
Suspension. The Girzzly has a firmer ride than the Polaris and this suits my hard riding style. I don't bottom the suspension out on this Grizz and it feels a bit sporty. I really like it. (for a utility)
CONS:
Body style: I don't care for the front fenders, they make the quad appear much larger and they are hard to see around. I much prefer the swept down fenders like the Polaris quads have.
Seat: I would like a bit longer seat for when I violate the rules and put my wife on the quad with me. I have to sit way forward so that she has room on the seat so her butt doesn't hit the rear racks
Racks: I don't like the racks. They are too small and I don't like tube racks when other manufacturers are offering some really cool composite racks. The Grizz seems a bit "old" when they put cheesy tube racks on this quad.
Overall I love this quad and fully reccomend it to anyone looking for a 500+ CC 4x4.

It was $8023 for a base model with a winch installed and no other options, but I got the Realtree Hardwoods edition for $8300ish with a winch installed.
I was wanting a blue one but the Realtree was the only one they had in stock at that time so I got it because I wanted it in my pickup that same day
Im not an impulsive buyer.........................................real ly im not! (hehe ya right)
