Whats the best on the trail?
I spent a half-day trail riding my buddies YFZ, and at the end of the day, I was glad to get off that thing and back onto the Z400! The front suspension is to stiff for comfortable trail riding. (Even Yamaha agrees with that, because they are softeneing it up for 05!) The powerband is also to pipey, to make a great trail bike. I would pick the YFZ for the dunes or more open desert.
I have no personal experience trail riding the Polaris.

The trails I ride none of those sport quads do very good.No gound clearance and only the Raptor has reverse until the 05 Pred gets out.
