I think you should get a 400EX it's between a Raptor 350 and a Z400.
It's not crazy powerful but it's got power to grow into.
And there getting cheeper and cheeper with the new 450R's out on the market

i would go with the z400, more likely than not as you ride it and gain more expirence you will hunger for more power..and there are mods and even stock the z400 will deliver more power than the ex and the raptor 350. with a few mods the Z will wake up more than the other two and if you ever decide to race, guess whos got ya covered??(z400) even if fate decides your a trail rider its an excellent trail quad. Also look at the kfx it is the same thing besides the fact that it has a cowl above the headlight. for example on the z400 if you are riding at night and u stand up the light can cast a glare on your googles. this can interfere with your vision; however, if you have a cowl above the light it wont do this which means the kfx is better for night riding if your into that kinda thing. for the note a cowl is just a little overhand if you didnt know what i was talking about also the cowl looks neat on the kfx!

just my 2 cents

wait naw you should look up every bike you named and see what 1 is for you, I hear alot of raptors breaking and costing alot to fix, but I think the raptor 350 is a nice quad.

you probly could look into z400 but to be honest if it were me id rather the raptor.. just loook em up a bit theres lots of info on each 1 just search.

The Z has a nice, modern engine. The Yamaha engine is low-tech, and old-school.

Ask yourself which one will have the better resale in a few years!

maybe the only reason why the raptors break is cause they have so much power being thrown down through the engine

when i got off my moto-4 onto my dads z, it felt a little to powerful at first, but after riding it for a while it fells totally controllable, yet with a ton of power to spare. i would go with a z400, just practice on it before you do any serious riding.
