Quadrunner rear end problems. I have a buddy that just had one replaced after a year. Check around, other people have had the same problems. Foreman(Honda has good quality). My brother's 1999 Kodiak with 26" Super Swampers will chew a Foreman up and spit it out in the mud. New Kodiak(I have not seen in action, no opinion).

Regarding tranny choices - if you're a true morcycle guy, go with the 5 speed. Too many inherent problems with belts. If you want a little variation, either Honda's thumb shifters or AC's rocker shifter should do the trick.

I know of at least 5 Quadrunner 500's that have lost the rear end due to lack of sealing. The problem was limited to the 98 model I thought, but I was contacted by someone the other day with a 99 model that lost the rear end.

If I was considering the Quadrunner 500 now, I would ask the dealer about the rear end problem.
