I own a Timberwolf 250 1998. I am 14. I want a good comfortable sport for 3000$ to 3500$. I need the facts of how fast both of them will go if that is possible. thanks

i own a 92 blaster with fmf pipe, k&n filter, boysen reeds, bandit tires, AC bumper and grab bar, maire plastic. well any way its a great machine. compared to a trailblazer you'll have more fun on a blaster, first off its a hell of a lot lighter, turns way better too. you can jump it better than a polaris. you'll have more fun out on the trails with a blaster i think. but if ya just like to cruise go for the polaris.

Go rid'em both. I think you'll like the Blazer more for an all around bike and spend less time at the repair shop.

I've rode both and I think you get more for your money with the Blazer. What these other guys are saying is somewhat true. But, most of them have modified Blasters. You have to think about what you are getting STOCK.

My opinion is that you can't buy stuff for the Blaster to replace what the Blazer has on the blaster. However, a RCR kit for the Blazer will give you most of what the Blaster has on the Blazer. For my money I'd rather get a Blazer and put $325 in the RCR kit and have all the EXTRAS the quad has to offer.

But, from what I've heard so far, there is no way to make the Blazer 100 LBS lighter for jumping. The blazer is MUCH HEAVIER (TB=420/B=320). That means a lot and could be your deciding factor if you jump alot or ride MX tracks.

If you ride a lot of trails like I do, you'll probably think like I do, I don't care about how high I jump, I'm more conserned about a smooth the landing is, if my brakes will stop me and if I run a hill with a top ledge, I want have to be clutching or catching a lower gear to top and fly. The front end stays down better, the hill climb is superior, and the gear is always just right to fly over the top instead or rolling back down.

Bottom line--pick what suits the riding you'll be doin' better, good luck, hope I helped and HAVE FUN!!!!

I think you also have to consider the size of the atv and how long you want to ride it. When i was 14 i could have rode a blaster but i have grown alot since then and the blaster is just to small for a big guy. both run pretty good but i prefer the trailblazer myself. good luck on your buy.
