Default Buying a Yamaha Raptor 350

Hello,

I'm thinking about purchasing a Yamaha Raptor 350 from a private owner. I found out that he paid a total of $5100 "out the door". He purchased it new less than a month ago and friends who ride with him say he's rode it for about 10 hours tops. What's a fair buying price I should pay for this ATV??? Of course this is under the notion that nothing is wrong with it and it runs perfectly.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated...

I too am in the market. I talked to the dealer the other day who said "$4100 for a new 2004 raptor 350". Plus tax you figure about $4500 or so. That guy is screwed becuase you might as well buy new unless he's going to give you a really good deal, and chances are he won't.

I would not pay a nickle over $4000, and that would be if it was PERFECT condition. That's just me...

Hey gsxr150, where did you get that price quote! That's a pretty awesome price! I actually haven't been any where but my local cycle shop at "Free State cycle" in Capital Heights MD. Let me know where you got this quote and thanks a lot for the info!

Moto Primo in Burnsville, MN. Guys name is Pete. He said they have two or three left, and will sell $50 under invoice, and I belive that was $4100 + tax. Great deal if you want to buy new.

That's great! Thanks a lot for the info dude. I'll look into giving that place a call. Only thing is that I live in Maryland but will have to see what I can to get this great deal.

Anyone have any other suggestions???

thanks in advance...
