2004 Arctic Cat 500 or 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500?

2004 Arctic Cat 500 or 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500?
I can get the 2004 cat for $6330 out the door or the 2005 polaris for $7250 out the door. It seems a no brainer as the cat is almost $1000 cheaper. But I am new to atvs and willing to pay more if it is worth it.
Any help?

That seems pretty high for both of them.
If you want true 4x4, the AC doesn't have a locker, while the Polaris is true AWD, not true 4x4.
Myself, I made a promise I would never buy another Polaris again, (except maybe a scrambler) but the 2005 might be better then the 2004 Cat. With AC changing the body style in 2005 the old models are really going to age. I say find a 2005 Arctic Cat 500. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

That does indead sound a bit high! I just picked up my 2005 AC 500 automatic for under $5700.
I've got a great dealer for you if you can travel to Crawfordsville, IN. They even threw in a free helmut!
