I could cut it in half if I drop my liabilities, etc. But according to the them and a few other agents I talked to Texas is the largest market for stolen ATV's in the US. That 95% of them get taken to our friendly neighbor Mexico.

Ahh I see. No doubt a high theft rate makes rates go up as well. Best to be safe than sorry.

I have them. Of course, didn't get it until AFTER the Raptor was stolen.

The grizzly is 130ish, the YFZ is 240ish. That's just for basic coverage against theft.. no comprehensive. Comp made the price double.

I think on the Grizz we have up to 500 worth of accesories covered.

Since I need to insure multiple quads, one being a raptor 80 for my 9 year old, they rated his machine almost 3 times what my new Rubicon would be. They (progressive) say it is because of his age... well, if it is stolen from my shed or trailer, and he isn't even on the darn thing, why should it matter? They also will not allow me to put all of them in my name, even though I ride all of them except the 80.

Insure the 80 seperately and pay more on it. Should still be cheaper then paying more on the Rubicon.

It is a wash... I pay the same either way for the Rubicon and others. The only expensive one is the raptor 80 for the 9 year old.
