I am 17 turning 18 and i was thinking of getting a 660R Raptor. I have been on ATV's but not with a manual clutch. So just wanted to know if it was a good ATV to get. Thinks

 

As long as you respect the power and are careful i think you would be just fine.

The ATV only goes so fast as you make it go. Keep that in mind and the nose comes up very easy on them and you should be fine.

There a little tippy in the turns but this isn't a problem if you use some body english or get one thats been widend.

The raptor will be easy to learn on due to the great low end torque. Just respect it and don't ride beyond your skill level and you will be fine.

honestly i do like my 400 more then a 660. Its less tipsy and quicker on the trails. i guess its all personal preferance
