Default 1996 Warrior?

I was wondering. A local powersports dealer has a 96' warrior for sale. It does not run, but I have a running 87'. I'd like to know if the 96' , in decent shape is worth $600 and either swaping engines or fixing the current that is in it. Thanks for any advice given.

If everything else is good on the bike I would say yes, but I don't know what they go for in your area.

What really are you expecting to gain? A cheap 96 warrior being the result if you put the older motor in the frame? Sounds a bit shady if you intend to sell it right away as a 96...
