The KFX400 is nothing but a Z400 in different plastic. If you look on the side of the KFX, it has a Suzuki sticker on it.
I didn't have the article in front of me when I quoted the weight, that's why a said "as I recall". The 515 pounds (516 actually) was for the KFX700, the other machine that is in the "way to big and way to heavy class". But, just fill the tank on that DS and wala, you have 515!
Actually, my friend who had the DS is a big guy. 6' 6" and certainly well over 200 pounds. He had to sell the DS at a big loss by the way, just to get it out of his garage. There just weren't many interested buyers. He bought a YFZ (one of those tiny little 350 pound kids toy bikes), and has never looked back! He's busting out huge air just like a pro, something that would be risky on the DS.
