need a quad for a tall fat guy
What kind of experience do you have. 400cc is the size of the motor (400 cubic centimeters). I'm a Yamaha fan so I would reccomend the Kodiak450 or the Grizzly but the other manufacturers have equaly as good machines all the way up to 800cc.

Best options are
Bombardier outlander 400 or 800 max
polaris X2 500cc
Arctic cat trv 500cc
all those quads will handle large people with an additional person no problem. if money wasnt an issue the 800 max if it is the arctic cat. That doesnt mean that the cat isnt a great quad either because it is just not the power of the 800.
