Plus the H1 is all AC if I'm not mistaken? That is something that I would look for. It's nice though when people say their AC v2 is better than the rest. And they are a kawi with a different exterior. Owell, I hope AC produces some more of their own power plants, instead of re-packaging all the time.

I would say for a big guy crawling rocks, the Cats or Polaris. Anything in the 400 and up range will have all the power and torque you can use in that terrain. Mo' power is always nice, but not really needed for rock crawling.
The Polaris AWD does have a slight slippage front to rear, which can compromise traction a little in really technical spots, if that matters. Most people would never notice. Of course it's also fully automatic, so it can save your behind sometimes when things get bad when you least expect it.

I would have to say a large AC. 500 or bigger. I had a 400 AC with 26" and i'm only 160 lbs. It didn't have enough grunt for me. It got boring. But it did have really good suspension and ground clearance. Mine had almost 15 inches after tires and some suspension tunning, that was the only way it would lead the way in front of my friends with all their tiny little Formans. It was really slow accelarater from about 25mph on up. Mine was an auto tranny, the manuals are a little better, but still not enough for a big guy like you. That is, inless you don't like power.
OHya diff lock is good for rocks and skid plates are nice.
