Default 1st quad??

I'm new to the sport of riding quads....I'm 5'4 and weight like 220. I'm looking for a good quad to ride on the weekends. Can some anybody give me some recommendations of what kind of quad to buy???I'm more geared towards sport riding if it helps. I'm not one to ride in the forrests. I'm more interested in track riding and something fairly fast and light.

well if this is your first quad you may want to consider getting a off brand quad. they are cheap and you can beat the living hell out of them while you learn the basics. When you are ready to stp it up to something bigger you can invest the real big money on something awesome.

For the track, the hot machines are the 450's. These aren't beginners quads though, so you might want to find a 400 (Honda or Suzuki) to start out on.

bah

don't worry about all this "learner quad" crap, get the biggest, baddest quad you can find and learn on it. Just keep a good healthy respect for it and you'll do fine.
