Look at the suzuki Vinson. It is a sporty fun quad and it the 500cc range. I love my suzuki and for your size that should be just right.

What are people paying OTD for the Vinson or the Outlander? I had looked at the Vinson but the Suzuki dealer told me that in terms of "quickness" I wouldn't notice a difference between it and the Eiger, which my girlfriend owns and i find terribly slow. I would look at larger machines, just can't afford them.

Get the Outlander, simply the best 400-500cc machine out there. As for throwing up mug and water you can get fernder extenders from your dealer

You know i got the dealer invoice off the net and it shows that once delivered and set up, the dealer has $5571 into the outlander 400. Then they have the nerve to quote me $7200. The dealer told me he couldn't work with me because the profit margin was so small (3% ) i think he said. Hell, he didn't like it too much when i informed him that right off the top i knew about their 3% hold back. what ever, time to start shopping around and playing the game.

$7200 OTD, thats ridiculous, where do you live?
my bro got his outy for $6000, i think that is the MSRP, i know some places though that have prices much cheaper than MSRP
the outy is definetely comfortable, but you may be disappointed with its speed
the outy is the best choice for you for sure, too bad there arent any really quick 400-500 cc bikes

The OL400 is the fastest 400cc utility quad made. Faster than the 450cc quads and will keep up with some 500cc quads. It is a good choice, but BOMB's are known for being $$$$. The Suzuki Vinson is a good choice, but doesn't offer two things I think you will have to have. IRS and a diff lock. The kodiak 450 has all the necessities you need, but I think you'll find the quad to be too small. The Cat 500 also has the necessities, but is about the slowest 500 cc quad. The polaris sp500 is a bit faster than the cat 500 and also has all the necessities, along with the best ride, best storage, and most comfortable seat! Of all the 400-500cc machines, I reccomend for what you want to do...look at the cat 500 and popo500.

Hey Phil, I am pretty sure the Vision has a diff-lock.
