Nevermind, its a true deal, but they are both 250s, not 400s. Sorry! If anyone wants to know, its at Kramer Sales in Maple Lake, Mn. 320-963-3733

To answer the test question I have ridden a Kawasaki perry suzuki Vinson and a yamaha kodiak. All of these atv ranged in cc from 400 450 500. When I buy I would like to have one of at least 400cc the second I really do not care 350 -250 i guess. Always better to not ride alone.

Well you actually don't have many options of 2x4 utes anymore so you might as well go for a cheap used eiger.
As for the other one if your planning on deep mudding I do know the Vinson 500 is a very capable machine b/c I downloaded a few videos of them in some deep mud/water doing water wheelies, and they got out just fine....But since they are not IRS and do not have a locker that doesn't present disadvantages. Their solid rear axles (SRA) limit some of the places you can go due to ground clearance issues. IRS is much better, providing 10+ inches of ground clearance. So you may want to check out the 05 or 06 Yamaha Kodiak 450(I think it's 421cc) it's got a diff locker, and it's got IRS. But they are pricey.
As for the Polaris Sportsman they are also nice ATV's as well. I had a Sportsman 400 and it could get through anything it seemed like...but they are slow and heavy vs. suzukis and yamahas... .
They have a different 4wd setup...On demand AWD, which means when the rear wheels slip both of the front automatically start spining so there isn't a need for a locker...but I'd rather have the regular 4wd setup. The Haweye is a very basic ATV and I wouldn't recommend something so small. I hope this helps some.

Bought 2006 kodiak 450 a while ago like it fine. Not any pricer than honda or some of the others. Loaded with options.

I bought a used 06 450 kodiak with 200 miles on it and love it. This is my first atv and I feel it is a good machine for us newbies.
