I hate to say it, but for your size you are going to be much better served with a used Japanese quad. If you can spend around $2500.00 you can get a 300EX or 400EX, the 400 has a frame size that is going to fit you better than any of the 250's I can think of at 6'6". There are other options as well. If you must go with a cheaper brand, there are a few forum sponsors here that tend to sell some of the better ones, and actually stand behind the quad with parts and help when needed. I would start by looking there.

 

You sound more like you need a HONDA 300ex, its a very good trail quad, and besides, its A HONDA. Very reliable, good japanese made quads. Now take one of the chinese-o-crap ones beside a japanese one, you could see and tell the difference between them. Honda or along one of the other Japanese quads is the best in my opinion. And probably about 70% to 85% on this forum would say it too, in fact Ill make a poll right now for you.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I'm not sure how they can sell any of those after reading the reviews...GOOD GRIEF! I think it was Kragen/Pep Boys or one of the big auto parts chain where they were sending back pallets of these things to China because of too many problems.

Sorry sissy, but thats not true, all Honda parts are made in Japan...

 

Even when a quality brand name is made in china it is made to that companies spec with no compromise to quality.
These Chinese ATV however are there own product hence the quality and low price.

Would not bother me if Honda ever built there stuff in China because you can bet there would be no short cuts in material or assembly quality just a cheaper work force doing the labour.
