I need some opinions I want to buy a new fast quad that handles great for trail riding and is reliable but being 6'3 and 220lbs its got to have power to haul a$$ without spending as much time servicing as the 450's but torque like the 700rse or ds650 or even the outlaw 525 having mates that only ride 2 wheeler mx its hard to to have a go on one [ive sat on the 700r and outlaw in the showroom but never even seen one in action] ive read similar theads but none of them refer to stock sports quads with little intent to modify or dragrace so all help and advice on what would suit me best would be appreciated!

You say your friends are into MX yet none of the quads you have listed are really MX quads. So, it sounds to me like you are trying to pick the wrong tool for the intended job....

All the 450's really need is more frequent oil changes, but a savy owner will probably want to do more fequent valve adjustments as well. Is that really such a big deal, that you would pass these superb machines up for a trail quad???

 

I'm gunna have to go with the raptor 700. EFI, reverse, fast as hell and good quad for trail riding and is probably good on the track as well.

If not that then the TRX-450r
