Default Sport quad for under 2k

I'm looking for suggestions on a good sport quad for the trails. I currently have about 2k saved up. I'm ridding a Suzuki Quadrunner 250 4wd as of now. My dad picked it up for moving snow, as the price was right, and it had a plow. I go riding with my friends, and they all have sport quads, and I get left in the dust. I'm 15, about 5'9 and 165lbs. It really doesn't matter, but I love 2 strokes...the powerband, the sound, quick revving, so I would prefer a 2 stroke, however 4 strokes are fine. I've been looking at banshees, but they are a little out of my price range I believe, plus I hear have no low end. Blasters have also caught my eye, but some say the are too small? I don't know to be honest. I have no problem driving full manual, infact I strongly prefer it. Let me know what you think would be good for me. Thanks

You would be cramped on a Blaster.

Seriously, the 2-stroke's day has come and gone! The modern 4-strokes (like the 450's) are more like 2-strokes than they are like the old generation 4-strokes....

In your price range, I would look for a used 400EX or maybe a Z400.

It would be REALLY hard to find a decent sport quad for under 2k.

The most I could put together is around 2500, and thats pushing it...I drive soon so I can't throw away too much money on a quad, when I need money for a car. Thanks for the 400ex/z400 suggestion, I've always liked z400's, and now that I look, they are not as expensive as I originally thought.
