Default Eton Quality?

I'm considering buying a 50 and 90 Eton for two grandkids. Is the quality ok on these? Price is reasonable and parts appear to be available easy with a decent dealer network. Thanks for any comments.
Regards,

Default Eton Quality?

My brother had a E-ton 90 for a while. It was a 2000 that he picked up really cheap. The only problems that he had with it were that sometimes it wouldn't hold a charge and he'd have to jump start it, and he broke the rear shock doing donuts. Now, I'm not surprised that the shock broke because my brother is 23 years old and around 150lbs. He had no problem getting a new shock for it either. He used to ride himself and his girlfriend on that little E-ton and it pulled them around. He also used to follow me on my Suzuki 4x4 over some pretty rough ground. For what the E-ton is and what they cost, I don't think you can go wrong. It's probably the only "no-name" brand I would ever consider for the kids. The fact that it held up to a 23 year old riding it for a year or so says a lot.

Thanks Bradw for the info. I've found a couple on close out so decided to give them a try. A friend has a 40 which has done very well.
