I cant decide. I definitly want fast fast fast, will mostly ride in the dunes but some trails too. What do you guys think?

 

YFZ...it's no contest!

 

yfz450 are sweet bikes. tons of aftermarket support.

 

the 525s has the best power to weight ratio. some magazine's test riders say it has to much power

 

I just dont know if i am ready to buy a POLARIS?!

 

the nice thing about the outlaw is it has ktm motor and trans maxxis tires and fox shocks not much is polaris. i've heard there is some changes coming in the 09 models. hopefully new plastic and paint

 

the 525 might have the best power to wight stock but the yfz450 will pass it with very few mods. i think the yfz parts will be alot easyier to get than the 525 because there are so meny of them out there.

 

I bought the YFZ LE. Paid $7500 for it. Then i added Hipers, skids, exhaust, nerfs and a bumper. Put my total to $9800

Actually, it takes a bit more then bolt on's for a YFZ to beat a Outlaw 525. Plus there both the same price and both have plenty of mods available. You can get a BB kit right from KTM and there are plenty of pipes for the Outlaw. The Outlaw has ton's more torque while the YFZ needs to be in the high revs. But either will make a fast dune quad.
