suzuki quadracer 450 vs. honda 450r
if i were to buy 1 of these quads new, which would yall suggest? i dont really ride ON the track. i like riding dirtroads and in the local sand pits and chalk pits. my buddy has a honda 450r-bonestock. it was clocked at 92 mph with a gps. the only thing i dont really like about it is how top heavy it feels. this would be why i would choose the suzuki over the honda. but i dont want the suzuki to break apart on me. but then again his starter is messing up. anyways...suggestions??

well first of all i can tell you that gps unit is wrong no stock quad will go that fast. the 450r whould be a better choice for you i think. it is very relable and pretty fast. the ltr450 is more of a track quad. the 450r excells in long desert rides and fast pace trails.

The new Suzuki 450s are really nice looking quads, they've worked out alot of the bugs and its got pretty impressive power now, but I agree with bigned1904 when he says that they are built more for the track, so out of those two, the best choice would be the Honda, but don't be afraid to look into other sport quads, theres enough of them now to suit everyone's individual needs.

First, buy a new gps. After that I would pick the zuk, yamaha, or even the kawi before I would buy a honda. Got one word for ya...................UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGLY!</end quote></div>
If he was picking a quad by looks, he wouldn't have to come in here and ask.
rideordie09, if you're not riding on the track, then out of the two I'd probably go with the Honda. They are more trail worthy stock.

i dont like the kawi...seat ws hard as a rock, i dont know if ti was running right but the one i rode seemed to be lacking the power like the other 450s seemed to have. any of the other 450s are very good. btw i think the kfx450 is the ulgyest of the 4.

If it was flipped it wasn't the quads fault. *see rider error*
