I think that the closest new bike would be the Yamaha 250. 4-stroke, 5-speed, electric start - It's a smaller sized bike but the hottest 250 out there right now.

ide say the closest thing you will find to the blaster is mabye the new raptors 250's. if you want more power then a banshee would be the big brother to the blaster, but as far as the blaster goes there is no other quad like them. if you want a kickstart, 4 stroke, 5 speed quad with close to the same power, then look for a kawasaki mojave 250. but other then that your choices are pretty much limited.

New Raptor 250! It has gotten good reviews, and all the owner's I have talked to love them. Ultralight, good price, reasonably powerful, fitting replacement for the venerable Blaster.....

I use to have a mojave an I think it might give the raptor a run for its money,at least engine wise, the suspension on the mojave has long travel but it needs to be set up right if your gonna moto it.Actually I kinda miss it it was 1 hell of a tight woods trail quad.Ya really dont need a big 50 hp bike in tight confines.

The big difference between the Raptor and other machines in this size range, is weight! The little Raptor weights just 313 pounds! Everything else is 50 to 100 pounds heavier. That gives the Raptor a huge weight/power advantage!!!
