Brute, Grizz, Sportsman, or King- Cant Decide between the 4

Rick cj7..........isn't it a limited slip? AWD???? locks when it senses slip??? That to me is not FULLY Locked. I really don't give a rats *** what he picks. I picked what IMO was the best big bore out there.
And if you pay attention I don't have a bruin anymore.. yes a flip a switch for it to go into 4wd diff lock for my grizzly.. Ive rode a polaris 500 HO.. Cushy ride, btw that 06 has been in the shop 3 x too... 1x was for a faulty AWD switch.

"thats the exact grizzly i want"
Then thats the one you should get.
There is no perfect machine and people will argue all day-week-month on this but in the end it is what you want. And it sounds like you have your decision made. My Poo just comes out on top for my application.

upnort you couldn't have said it easier...I tried to say that but I hurt rick's feelings [IMG][/IMG][
You didn't hurt my feelings!
I just want to make sure priesman64 gets the correct facts!
Just because it has AWD on the switch instead of 4WD, doesn't mean both front wheels don't turn.
Spouting out it doesn't have 4wd doesn't help anyone.
Besides I allready said it would be a no brainer for him to get the Griz, he has connections at the Yammy shop.

Only bustin ***** Rick, but you have not acknowledged the limited slip...I personally think the AWD system is great, but he wants it locked when he wants it locked, limited slip is limited slip, granted its 20% or so, is still a slip. This is why you can drive in AWD, because BOTH front tires are not engaged unless there is a SLIP.
I'm done posting about this

Polaris AWD is a great 4wd system!
The term Limited slip applies to how the front/rear diff gets power to both wheels. The Polaris AWD system doesn't slip between the wheels like a limited slip or posi! You are talking about how the rear tires must loose traction before the front engages, this is controlled by an overrunning roller that locks the front automatically when it senses a lose of rear wheel traction, it also automatically releases when the rear wheels regain traction.
I ride with all brands and types of 4wd systems, nothing more annoying than be following a Jap atv and have to stop at each hill and grade for them to lock and unlock the diff! Yeah we still all have to stop and shift low to high.

Polaris AWD system does turn all 4 wheels when needed! not just 3 like all the others, unless you stop and flip a switch or lever to lock the front.
I know this doesn't really apply to most atv riding but what 4wd or should I say AWD system do the winning rally cars use? AWD!

did any of you guys read the shoot out between the Rincon 680, Grizzly 700, and the Artic Cat 700 H1?
the Grizzly came in first by 4 points against the honda and the H1 was in last with a low 96
