Which would be better buy?

yea it should come with one i have a john deere 650 and it has a solid plate but its like the quest 650 xt . okay so frame b good just put skid plate, and thing else i might need be aware of?

I'd strongly advise getting a 2-up machine. I wish I did. Certain places ban 2-up riding unless you have a 2-up machine. Not the rear seat attachement. Newfoundland has banned 2-up riding on those seat attachements. It's a shame that I bought a one seater

I haven't heard of a state or province yet where riding double on a one person machine is legal. It might cost you $75-100 or more each time you get caught. It's not worth the fines, or the risk of killing you both because the machine is off-balance and over-loaded. People have died because they doubled up on a single seater.

thats true, yea i going check the 800 either friday or saturday if i can get a dealer to let me test drive them. see if i will like it and take g/f see if she like it. i need to find someone who has one so i can actually ride on a trail but we will see
