The '09 TRV 550 with a painted finish is the same exact retail price as an '09 500 Sportsman Touring. With Polaris you get a lot more AT NO EXTRA COST. The Touring has more passenger room than ANY 2-up ATV, 1/2 gallon bigger gas tank, Turf Mode, Active Decent Control, 1" wider rear tires, cast aluminum wheels, 120 pounds more rack capacity, and 175 pounds higher towing capacity. With the TRV you get 46cc more engine. I wonder if it's even a noticeable difference in power.

If you compare the '08s, the Polaris comes out even better: more front and rear suspension and more ground clearance, etc.
