Looking for Advice: Options to Purchase Cheap ATV

also, the jianshee 400 looks JUST LIKE a yamaha big bear. (several off brand atvs resemble hondas or yamahas) but, in reality i think yamaha and honda sell these atvs to offbrand companys who stamp offbrand names on them.

actuly yamaha and jianshe are a joint company. every part fit sofar strait from yamaha. exept for the pull start.

hey guys, the only thing i haven't seen on this subject of atvs for him is which transmission should he get. an automatic or a manual (whether clutched or manual shift with centrifugal clutch). i'm not sure if you would overheat an automatic/cvt transmission or not when pulling a brush hog. anybody know about that?

if it is fully automatic then there are belts. so if you plan on going in ther mud they could get wet and slip and you need to get a blet job as well as get somone to get you out of the mud. semi automatics are my favorite for mudding becasue there is an automatic clutch so you still shift so nothing can slip so you will always truck threw the mud. manuals are fine if you don't mind clutching. its a pain in the mud though especially if you have one hand on your winch. they will all be fine for pulling a brush hog.
