Buying new ATV HELP!
Well i want a sport, i want trails for now i am a newbie, i will work up to track riding and other later, i do not know how to work manual but i would like to learn i am 5'4 145 pounds, i like the honda 250 but i also like the raptor, what to do my friends i want speed i want trails, and i will end up buying all sorts of tires for dunes and mudding later on i need something for now though to learn

If you need high ground clearance or ride in water/mud a lot, get the EX. For everything else, get the Raptor!!!
The one problem with the EX is that its shaft drive design limits suspension travel in the rear. Also, the stock tires are way lame and make it push in corners.
I think the Raptor can use a tire change as well, to something like Standard ITP Holeshots and that will give it a little extra ground clearance.

Buying new ATV HELP!
You have so much more direct control over the power with a full manual clutch! Find someone who is patient and experienced to help you get started, and you will have it down within the first hour. Remember, when going really slow you don't control the speed with the throtle, you do it with the clutch (depending on how much you engage it or not). Also, be sure you pull the clutch back in when you are coming to a stop....
