The Raptor 350 is a warmed over Warrior. Some of you probably weren't born yet, when I was riding a Warrior.....and I can testify that it was the absolute worst quad I have ever ridden!!! Handling is heavy and clunkey. It's just a bad design, that Yamaha needs to retire. Sadly, even with different shocks and a few changes, the newer Raptor is not one bit better than the old Warrior was.
Pass this turkey up!!!

I would like to hear the explination of how the Raptor is boering?</end quote></div>
I ride a friend's every weekend and it's terribly under powered, ok handling, and after it's run for a long time it runs very HOT!That old ttr 350 dirt bike engine is, while very reliable a design from 20 plus years ago.Fun for the first 2 weeks you get it boring for the rest.Though it does wheelie nice.

I had not thought of that, but a pretty good idea I must say, its got the weight and size of a ute already heh might as well have the 4x4 to boot.

Sorry about that, thought you were talking 700 Raptor not the 350. I will agree the 350 Raptor is a turd compared to the 400 class machines!

If you have the money for a new Honda 420...ignore every other quad on the planet! It can be had in 2wd/SRA, 4wd/SRA, or 4wd/IRS/with a totally unique new gear-on-gear twin clutch automatic transmission!</end quote></div>
Agree here to what the OP is looking for. The ALL NEW Honda 420 might be just the best fit. If it were not for the tranny issue...then I would recommend the Yamaha Grizz all the way. IMO...just a better overall machine.
Good luck on your choice...
