id go grizzly. You'll love the diff lock for that mud you've got down there and the ground clearance, power, power steering (if you get that model), rack capacity for hunting, larger fuel tank,ect... Over all its an excellent machine. the big brother 660 has been out for a long time and very few issues, if any. The cvt trans if very reliable and is your friend when you start to get hung up in some thick mud. I have a 5 speed ute bike and an cvt auto and id take the cvt over the gear driven b/c the 5 speed wont allow you to get momentum when you need to due to shifting. The suzuki is an awsome machine as well, i just think the griz is a little better bike. Of course when it comes down to it, its what ever you prefer since you'll be the one riding it. Good luck on your decision and welcome to the forum!

I would definately consider the 700 Griz over the 550 as they have the same dimensions and weight. The 700 doesn't cost that much more than the 550 and it does have alot more power even though they both have plenty. I also have an 08 Griz 450 with IRS and it will surprise you with what it will do. If it had EPS and EFI I would rather have it over the 700 just because of its manueverability in the woods. And it was $2000 cheaper. It does sit lower though, and that can suck if you ride in any deep water. I paid $5150 for the 450 if that helps.
