Default buying an ATV that needs a new bottom end, what do you think?

I'm looking at a 1985 suzuki 185 quadrunner that needs a new bottom end. The seller will include the bottom end for me but I'd have to install it. I'm good with car engines but never worked on an ATV before. How hard is this job and do you think $200 is worth it or should I keep looking?

There are a lot of reasons why a seller may wish to sell an ATV. Of course, the best scenario is to find a seller who simply never had time to ride the bike and the bike is still in relatively new condition.

Good deal in my opinion. If you are comfortable wrenching on cars, a quad won't be too difficult, and the guy has the parts you need for the job. Just get yourself a repair manual. And enjoy your $200 dollar jem. If you go for it, try to take pics of the rebuild and post them. Good luck with your decision. Welcome to the forums.
