I think I made a bad mistake

Well, after a long discussion with the sales guy I was rather convinced that there would be plenty of power with the 350. There weren't a lot of mid-sized utility quads on hand so I made the decision that the 350 would be fine.
The sales guy told me it would go 48MPH... I'm thinking that would only actually happen if I was going straight down a mountainside with a tailwind.

Mistake fixed ! It cost me a fair amount but I am happy with my new ride now. New 2011 Suzuki King Quad 750 (no power steering). It's going to be a great summer. The king is amazing. I was loving getting it stuck in some deep slush only to have it walk right out after putting on the diff lock. Amazing machine.
My day started with a little comparative shopping at Motorsports International just to make sure I was getting a good deal from the original dealer. They proposed giving me A LOT LESS for my trade-in and their pricing included only a modest discount from MSRP on the Grizzly 700 I was considering. I thanked them for their time and went back to the original dealer. In spite of getting sold the wrong bike and losing a big chunk of money I feel that the original dealer (Motorsports Nation in Plainfield, CT) did everything they could to work with me on the new deal and they have my respect as a decent business.

In regards to power steering- you won't be missing anything while riding mild logging trails or flat, uncluttered trails- but, where PS is sweet is when you're riding old rocky river beds, hitting the grid trails or rough woodsy trails- it keeps the deflecting down and wrists feeling good. I rode my buds grizz 700 with eps, it was nice over the woops and when the snow would suck you in- I'd but it on my next atv purchase...

motorsports international is the worst cycle / atv dealer in the tri-state area! I've had to deal with them on more then a dozen occasions and every one of them sucked! They are the one's who wanted to charge me $180 to mount atv tires!- and I tried to buy an outlander off them back in 2007- after telling them 4 times I didn't want the extended warranty- when I sat to sign the finance papers I noticed they stuck it in there anyway- the sales assoc said it was in my best interest!!! Told them I was all set and walked out. Then went back later with 4 22"x8" gokart tires for my kids buggy- service mgr said he can't mount gokart tires- I said they are the same size as atv tirs- then he said he "ain't" got the time to mount them- If I wanted to leave them he'd try to get to them in the next week or two
ehh, sorry for the rant- I could go on and on about those scum bags.
you did good! welcome back to the big-bore class! Now stop sitting on it and and go do something productive
