Default Difference in engine sizes

I'm looking to buy a used ATV; I'm looking at a 2007 Yamaha 450 grizzly and a 2009 Polaris sportsman 400 and 500. How big a difference is there between the 400 to the 500 as far as engine size? I'm looking to use it for light trail riding, pushing snow, dragging deer and towing implements for food plots.

Any of the quads you mentioned will do what you're asking mainly because they have a low range that will give you enough power for all the tasks. Not sure about the 2009 400 but the present 400 Polaris Sportsman is actual a 450. Why they called it a 400 is beyond me. All of these quads are pretty bulletproof too. Basically, these quads have enough power to pull pretty much anything within reason. You'll dig 4 holes in the ground in low range if you're pulling something where you don't have the traction to get it moving.
